Title: Digital Parking Officer, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $89174.98 to $103636.41 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Community Transport, Parking and Fleet team is responsible for coordinating the business, administrative and operational functions for Council’s transport and parking services across the Northern Beaches. This includes the Hop Skip Jump community bus service, Council-owned car parks, beach and reserve paid parking, parking permits and pre-paid parking accounts, supporting accessible, convenient and customer-focused transport and parking outcomes across the region.
The team provides timely, accurate and customer-focused advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with Council objectives and operational priorities across the broader service area.

Our opportunity:The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Administer Council's digital parking permit system, processing applications, renewals and variations accurately and in accordance with policy.
2) Deliver high-quality customer service by assisting residents, businesses and community organisations with permit enquiries and applications.
3) Assess complex permit applications, applying eligibility criteria and exercising sound judgement to achieve consistent outcomes.
4) Support and maintain parking technology systems, identify system and process improvements, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of digital parking services.
5) Develop and maintain business processes, procedures, communications and supporting documentation to ensure efficient and customer-focused service delivery.
About you:
You are a customer focused and tech savvy administrator who enjoys working with digital systems and finding practical solutions. You have experience interpreting policies and procedures, managing competing priorities and delivering accurate outcomes in a fast-paced environment. With strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset, you build positive relationships with customers and colleagues and are passionate about delivering efficient, accessible and contemporary services.
