About the Role
Donny Dairy is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to develop and coordinate marketing activities supporting the growth and promotion of the company's dairy and cheese products.
The successful applicant will be responsible for researching market opportunities, developing marketing strategies, coordinating promotional activities and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across Donny Dairy's commercial customer and consumer markets.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Researching market conditions, customer preferences and competitor activity within the Australian dairy, food-service and retail markets to identify opportunities for existing and new Donny Dairy products.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs to promote Donny Dairy's range of cheese, yoghurt and other dairy products and support the company's sales objectives.
- Identifying target markets and customer segments, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers, retailers, bakeries, food manufacturers and other commercial customers.
- Advising management on product positioning, pricing, promotional activities and distribution channels to improve the market performance of Donny Dairy's products.
- Planning and coordinating advertising and promotional campaigns for individual products, new product offerings and broader Donny Dairy brand initiatives.
- Coordinating the development and distribution of marketing materials and promotional content, ensuring product information and brand messaging accurately represent the company's dairy products.
- Managing and updating the company's website and digital marketing channels, including coordinating product information, promotional material and other marketing communications.
- Monitoring marketing and promotional performance, analysing customer and campaign data and preparing reports and recommendations for management.
- Supporting business growth by identifying new marketing opportunities and developing initiatives to strengthen Donny Dairy's brand presence, customer engagement and sales of its manufactured dairy products.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- A relevant Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, preferably within food manufacturing, dairy, FMCG, hospitality or a related industry.
- Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Experience conducting market research and analysing customer and market information.
