Your new role
Make a meaningful impact in your community by leading programs that enhance wellbeing, inclusion and liveability. As Coordinator Community Services, you will drive the delivery of key community programs and initiatives, spanning community development, Home Assist and Child Care services, ensuring they are safe, compliant and genuinely responsive to community needs.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will guide a high performing team, foster strong partnerships across the community services sector, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive social outcomes. You will oversee governance, compliance, funding and service delivery while contributing to strategic planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a dynamic, community focused leader with strong experience in community development, program delivery and people leadership. Your ability to build relationships, manage budgets and projects, and navigate regulatory environments will be key to your success.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Comprehensive knowledge of community development, engagement strategies, and delivery of community services programs
- Demonstrated experience managing funded and regulated services, including interpreting and applying legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Strong leadership capability, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide advice and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop and sustain partnerships across government, community organisations, and service providers
- High-level skills in strategic thinking, project planning, budget management, reporting, and driving continuous improvement aligned to organisational priorities

Application Criteria
- Degree qualification in Community Services, Community Development (or related discipline) and/or substantial relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership capability, and possession of (or ability to obtain) a valid Blue Card for working with Children and Young People (Working with Children Check).
- Be able to qualify as Fit and Proper Person with Management Control for Childcare and Fit and Proper Person as Key Personal being a decision maker for Aged Care
- Demonstrated experience managing funded and regulated services, including compliance, legislative and reporting requirements
- Experience leading, mentoring and motivating teams to deliver high-quality community services aligned with organisational priorities
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships to enhance service delivery and community outcomes
- Highly developed skills in project planning, budget management and report writing
