About the Venue:
Le Grande Grill, a brand-new Fine Dining Steakhouse is coming to the Brighton Premium Dining Precinct, and we are building a highly skilled front-of-house team to bring this exciting new dining concept to life.
Located in Brighton-Le-Sands, just 20 minute drive from Sydney CBD, this new venue will deliver a sophisticated steakhouse experience with a strong focus on exceptional food, premium beverages and outstanding service.
We are looking for experienced Section Waiters who understand what it takes to deliver polished, attentive and highly personalised service in a fine dining environment.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the opening team of a brand-new fine dining steakhouse and play a key role in establishing its service culture and guest experience from day one.
You will take ownership of your section, delivering seamless, knowledgeable and attentive service throughout the entire guest journey.
Working closely with the broader front-of-house and kitchen teams, you will help ensure every service is executed to the highest standard.
This is not an entry-level hospitality position. We are looking for experienced operators who are confident managing their own section and thrive in fast-paced fine dining environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of your section throughout service
- Deliver polished, attentive and personalised table service
- Build genuine relationships with guests and create memorable dining experiences
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine and beverage offerings
- Confidently explain menu items and make informed recommendations
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail throughout service
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service
- Maintain polished presentation and service standards at all times
- Contribute to a positive, professional and high-performing team culture
About You:
- Previous experience managing your own section within premium dining, fine dining or hatted restaurants (essential)
- A valid NSW RSA certificate (essential)
- Confident 3-Plate carry (essential)
- Australian working rights (sponsorship not offered for this position)
- Strong understanding of premium table service and guest expectations
- Confident communication and excellent personal presentation
- Strong food, beverage and wine knowledge
- Ability to remain composed and professional during busy services
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Flexible availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
