The Opportunity - Part-time (16 hours per week) Fixed Term (2 Years)
This unique role offers an exceptional opportunity within Australia's largest integrative oncology program and the only Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer Centre in NSW (MASCC) . As one of only three such centres in Australia, candidates will have the chance to be part of innovative care delivery.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuity and excellence of care for patients receiving treatment or managing symptoms in outpatient services within the oncology department.
Essential Requirements
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association (AHPRA).
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience including 3 years full-time equivalent post registration experience in Oncology nursing, chemotherapy experience is desirable.
- Post graduate oncology qualification.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
- Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
