About Us:
Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) is a family owned and operated healthcare organisation that has been delivering exceptional aged care services since 1995. From humble beginnings, we have grown into one of Australia's leading privately owned aged care providers, with a strong focus on relationships with our residents, their families, and our staff.
We are devoted to creating warm, welcoming and homelike environments where residents and staff alike share a genuine sense of family. We firmly believe that happy staff equals happy residents, and we work hard to make sure our team feels supported, valued and appreciated every day.
We are now looking for a passionate and hands on Maintenance Officer to join our team at Traralgon Aged Care and we would love to hear from someone who wants to make a genuine difference through the work they do.
About the Role:
This is a permanent part time role working 3 days per week, with flexibility in your days depending on the workload and the needs of the home. This flexibility makes it a great opportunity for someone looking for a genuine work life balance, while still doing meaningful, varied and hands on work every day.
As our Maintenance Officer at Traralgon Aged Care, you will be a valued and trusted member of the team, responsible for ensuring our home is safe, well maintained, beautifully presented and a place our residents are proud to call home.
You will report to the Home Manager and work closely with the broader team to proactively identify and address maintenance needs, coordinate contractors where required, and ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment at all times.
No two days will be exactly the same and that is exactly what makes this role so rewarding!
