Job Description
Landscape Construction (Gardening and Landscape Services)
Daily tasks include:
- Leading and supervising a team of landscape gardeners to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Managing onsite staff and coordinating daily landscaping and garden maintenance activities.
- Performing and overseeing general garden maintenance and landscape construction projects.
- Liaising with clients to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and resolve onsite issues.
- Ensuring compliance with and monitoring Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures onsite.
- Operating and overseeing the safe use of landscaping machinery, power tools, and equipment.
- Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Supervising, training, and motivating team members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Planting, pruning, fertilising, and maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, and garden beds.
- Preparing sites and undertaking landscape construction works, including paving, retaining walls, irrigation systems, and turf installation.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction
- Minimum 1 year work experience in the field.
- Experience in Machinery exposure, both in maintenance (Ride-on Mowers), Construction (Bobcat, excavator)
- Manual Driving Licence
- National Police Check & White Card
Annual salary: $79,499.00 + Superannuation, 38 Hours week
Pay: $79,499.00 per year
