What You’ll Do
You will provide hands-on clinical pharmacy services, support patient care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. This is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and gain experience that will open doors to future opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
- Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.
- Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
- Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
- Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicines.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space.
Eligibility requirements:
- Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-month from the date of employment
Desirable skills & experience:
- Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
