About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial customer sites. You’ll work independently in the field while being fully supported by our experienced service and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to breakdown calls and perform scheduled preventative maintenance
Commission air‑conditioning and HVAC equipment on customer sites
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system performance issues
Carry out overhauls and repairs on reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal systems
Handle customer technical queries and complaints with professionalism
Document service activities and submit detailed service reports
Build strong, long‑term customer relationships through clear communication
Train and advise customers on system operation and best practices
Recommend system upgrades, enhancements, or replacements where appropriate
Prepare basic pricing and customer quotations as required
About You
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HVAC or Service Technician
Relevant trade qualification (Refrigeration / Electrical / Mechanical)
Hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, and fault finding
Exposure to Building Automation Systems (BAS) highly regarded
Ability to read schematics and produce clear technical reports
Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset
Willingness to travel within the local region as required
