We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Leader to join our leadership team based in Milton, QLD. If you are a people-focused leader with experience in disability services and a commitment to quality support, this is an opportunity to make a real impact while leading a dedicated team.
About the Role
As a Service Leader, you will oversee and perform the day-to-day operations of disability support services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for the people we support. You will lead, coach and develop support teams while partnering closely with participants, families, stakeholders and internal leaders to deliver exceptional service and positive life outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead and support frontline disability support teams
✔ Champion person-led service delivery and individualised support
✔ Develop, implement and review Individual Plans (IPs) and participant goals
✔ Build strong relationships with participants, families and key stakeholders
✔ Support new participant intake and service transitions
✔ Support with service quality, compliance and documentation standards
✔ Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback and performance reviews
✔ Ensure WHS, NDIS and organisational compliance requirements are maintained
✔ Drive continuous improvement initiatives across services
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience in the disability, community services or human services sector
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong understanding of the NDIS environment and participant-centred supports
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and solve complex problems
- Experience coaching, mentoring and supporting teams to achieve outcomes
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- A positive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to leadership.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the disability sector and/or leadership role
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Australian working rights.
