School Maintenance Officer & Bus Driver

Loreto Kirribilli, a leading Catholic independent school for girls, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer and Bus Driver to join our Property and Facilities team.
This permanent full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring our campus remains a welcoming, well-maintained, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
About the role
Reporting to the Property & Facilities Manager through the Property & Facilities Supervisor, you will:
Carry out general maintenance and repair work, including painting, tiling, gyprock repair, and minor plumbing.
Conduct preventative maintenance and regular inspections of buildings and plant equipment.
Assist with setups and logistics for school events, assemblies, and functions.
Drive the school’s 24-seater bus for excursions, sport, and other school activities.
Support contractor coordination and compliance.
Complete daily mail runs and assist with deliveries as required.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
Promote safe work practices and uphold all WHS requirements.
Support and uphold the Catholic values and ethos of the School.
About you
You are a dependable, skilled, and solutions-oriented individual who brings:

Demonstrated experience in maintenance, repairs, or facilities operations.

A current MR Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain).

A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.

Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Strong initiative, reliability, and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical fitness and a commitment to safe work practices.
