What You’ll Do
You will work at both Moreton Bay College and Moreton Bay Boys' College by hosting individual tuition paid directly by parents and immersion program, tutorials, concerts and any other activities paid by the Colleges.
- delivery high quality individual or small group lessons
- model best practice as a performing musician to MBC and MBBC students
- develop individualized programs of instruction for private students that
- are informed by best practice and contemporary developments in pedagogy
- set clear goals and work towards achieving those
- cater for individual interests and learning styles
- establish solid technical foundations for development
- foster in students the desire to be the best that they can be
- cultivate outstanding young musicians
- comply with College reporting requirements
- attend and assist with performances and other College events as required
What You’ll Bring
- experience teacher of violin and viola
- tertiary qualification in Music, or other high-level applicable qualification such as an AMusA or LMusA
- Working With Children Blue Card or Exemption Card
- Being a practicing performing musician would be considered an advantage
