Job Title: Finance Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and system administrative support, ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial reporting. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, empathy for disabled individuals and their families, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Skills:
- Accounts Payables
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- General ledger reconciliation
- Intercompany transfers and reconciliation
- Understanding of Plan management in the NDIS scenario
- Customer service skills including conflict resolution and complaints management
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using Xero app
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of the SDSP accounting function
- Create service bookings and claims from the portal
- Handle multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Troubleshoot system issues
Generate reports for business analytics
Qualifications:
Minimum diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
2+ years of experience in an Accounting or finance role
