What you’ll do
As the In Store Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be the crucial link between our broader marketing strategies and in-store execution, championing the delivery of customer-centric campaigns that bridge our small-format (Metro) and national Supermarket environments.
End-to-end ownership of the delivery of in-store campaigns and POS kits, balancing bespoke Metro constraints with broader national Supermarket priorities.
Define and maintain a clear in-store messaging hierarchy for Metro that balances national brand consistency with local relevance.
Champion the 'Small Store' mindset within large-format workflows.
Oversee the "Always-On" in-store communication ecosystem, ensuring POS, digital screens, in-store radio, and music are seamlessly integrated into existing marketing workflows.
Identify and implement process efficiencies across creative briefing, artwork versioning, print production, and distribution to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Work closely with cross-functional internal teams, print partners, and creative agencies to ensure marketing assets are delivered on brand, on budget, and on time.
What you'll bring
You are an empathetic, proactive, and resilient professional who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous retail environment. You have a curious mindset and take true accountability for driving end-to-end campaign success, always looking for ways to improve processes and the customer journey.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or campaign management, ideally within a large corporate retail, FMCG, or agency environment.
Proven track record in managing print production, distribution operations, and physical/digital in-store marketing channels (such as POS and digital screens).
Exceptional ability to communicate, influence, and foster strong partnerships with varied internal stakeholders and external creative/production agencies.
Analytical rigour and ability to decipher complex, often conflicting inputs to create a single direction.
Highly organised with the capability to fluidly transition between different projects, and shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
