The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Supervisor (Retail Food Operations) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Ensure the efficient ordering of stock and food to ensure the quality of food products and equipment is of the highest standard
Be the central point of contact and ensure order requests are consolidated into single deliveries
Supervise the effective operation of the stores distribution activities and functions meet the needs of the retail outlet
Assist in the process of progressive and annual stocktakes within the retail outlet and storage locations
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in retail/hospitality would be well regarded.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $69,486 - $72,833 per annum

Operational support Services (OSS) supports the delivery of non-clinical services within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) under the departments of: Facilities and Security Operations, Business Operations and environmental Services. These departments focus on efficient operations, through best practice, whilst satisfying legal and safety requirements as well as meeting productivity and efficiency standards across the businesses and facilities of the GCHHS.
Retail Food Services provides the general public, staff and patients with a range of healthy hot and cold food and drink options seven (7) days per week from our retail outlets of Pulse Cafe located at Gold Coast University Hospital and from Bayberry Cafe at Robina Hospital.
