Job Description
Are you organised, hands-on, and enjoy keeping things running behind the scenes? We're looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the day to day operations of our Hotels. Working closely with the Stores Manager, you'll help ensure our departments have the supplies they need, stock is accurately received and stored, and our inventory systems remain organised and up to date. This is a physically active role, so you'll be comfortable lifting, carrying, moving stock, pushing and pulling trolleys, and working on your feet throughout the day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods in line with approved purchase orders and FIFO principles.

Distributing stock and supplies to departments in a timely and efficient manner.

Conducting temperature checks on incoming goods and completing daily storage and compliance checklists.

Monitoring outstanding purchase orders and assisting with inventory control through PurchasePlus.

Processing invoices and following up supplier credits to ensure accurate record keeping.

Coordinating returns, discrepancies, and missing items with suppliers and internal departments.

Assisting with monthly stocktakes and inventory audits.

Maintaining clean, organised, and compliant storage areas, loading docks, and back-of-house facilities.

Coordinating the collection and return of supplier crates and containers.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environment.

A valid forklift license or willing to obtain one.

Strong attention to details and excellent organisational skills

Confident using systems and completing administrative tasks

A proactive, reliable and trustworthy approach to work

The ability to work independently while being a team player
-
Comfortable to perform manual handling tasks safely.
