In this role you will lead a dedicated team, responsible for the coordination of agendas and minutes, statutory compliance responsibilities, civic functions, and other key City documentation including policy, local laws etc.
- Experience effectively manage a small team
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret legislation
- Sound research and analytical skills enabling interpretation of information
- Ability to produce well-constructed and informative reports, pitched to a level appropriate for a busy local government
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of products, intranet and web based software
- High level of time management and organisational skills
Previous experience in Local Government is desirable for this role, preferably in a governance or senior administration role.

- Ability to understand relevant Acts and Regulations
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research, problem solve complex issues, and develop clear and concise briefing notes and discussion papers with supporting recommendations
- Demonstrated understanding of the Council decision making process, agendas and minutes
- Highly developed skills in people management
This position offers a salary from $111,967 to $119,224 per annum (dependent on skills and experience), and:
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
