The Opportunity:
The Client Engagement & Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing client relationships and driving sustainable business growth within Ave Maria. Our Head Office is in Unanderra with sites across Wollongong, Dapto and Nowra. This permanent, full-time position requires a proactive and driven individual who can effectively engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic development of the organisation, including our work across Supported Independent Living (SIL/ SDA), In Homes Service, Community Participation and our new Allied Health Services stream, ensuring alignment with (NDIS) objectives and enhancing the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client engagement and satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the organisation’s reach and service offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants/ clients, their families, stakeholders, allied health professionals and community organisations. Developing a strong referral network and always inputting to continuous improvement across the organisation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client needs in a sustainable, compliant and consistent manner
- Collaborate, prepare and present reports on key metrics including client satisfaction, business optimisation and business development opportunities initiatives to senior management
- Participate in networking events and industry conferences and expos to promote the organisation and its services
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Work, Health or a related field preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in client engagement, business development, or a similar role within the community services/ Allied Health or NDIS Sector
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and its operational framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets, maintaining and developing a strong pipeline of work
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, advise on strategy and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
