We are seeking an experienced and confident Nursery Room Leader / Toddler Room Leader / Educational Leader to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established early learning service.
This role is best suited to an experienced leader who is confident managing classroom program, building a team relationships, family relationships, educational quality, programs and overall centre collaboration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a team of educators
- Plan, document and reflects on monthly program and observations
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations
- Building positive relationships with children, families and the local community
- Supporting occupancy growth and family retention
- Leading Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) initiatives
- Maintaining high standards of educational programming and practice
- Fostering a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture
Essential Requirements:
- Cert III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
Highly Desirable:
- Previous Room Leader and/or other Leadership experience
- Strong planning knowledge
- VEYLF is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and lead a team with confidence

- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and National Regulations
- Must have previous leadership experience within an early childhood setting
Highly Desirable:
- Previous Centre Director/ Management and Leadership experience
- Assessment and Rating experience
- Strong compliance knowledge
- Experience managing occupancy, enrolments and team performance
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and lead a team with confidence
Work Location: In person
Pay: $63,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
