Razzie’s is a new quick service burger shop opening in the Sydney CBD, serving fresh smashburgers, hot dogs, loaded sides, and proper comfort food.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and positive Team Members to join our opening team. Whether you're helping customers at the counter, building burgers in the kitchen, working the fryer, packing orders, or keeping service running smoothly, you'll play an important part in creating a great experience for every guest.
You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’ll train you, show you our way of doing things, and support you as you learn. We’re also always open to ideas and suggestions from the team. What matters most is that you’re willing to learn, can work well with others, care about doing a good job, and bring a good attitude.
We’re starting with one location, but the goal is much bigger. Razzie’s has plans to grow into multiple locations, and we want good people to grow with us. As the business grows, there will be opportunities for the right people to learn more, take on more responsibility, and grow into bigger roles.
We believe in cross training our team. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to learn both Front of House and Back of House responsibilities, giving you a broader understanding of how the business operates. This keeps the work interesting, helps the team work better together, and gives you the chance to build real skills across the business.
Greeting customers and providing friendly service
Taking orders accurately and answering customer questions
Handling payments and operating the point of sale system
Packing takeaway and delivery orders carefully and accurately
Handing food to customers and helping create a positive experience
Building burgers and hot dogs during service
Cooking and preparing sides, including fries, onion rings, curly fries, potato gems, and loaded options
Operating the fryer safely
Helping with food preparation before and during service
Following recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures
Applying safe food handling practices
Keeping both customer and kitchen areas clean, organised, and ready for service
Restocking stations and helping the team wherever needed
Learning different stations as part of your training
Working with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods
Some experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, takeaway shops, cafes, diners, quick service restaurants, kitchens, or similar environments
A willingness to learn and try new things
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail
A clean and organised approach to work
A basic understanding of food safety and safe food handling
The ability to stay calm when things get busy
Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights and weekends
An interest in food, hospitality, and being part of a growing business
You’re reliable, practical, and happy to work as part of a team. You enjoy helping people, take pride in doing things properly, and are willing to jump in wherever you're needed. You don't need to be an expert from day one. You just need to care about quality, cleanliness, food safety, customer experience, and supporting the people around you.
