Heidelberg Materials Australia have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join the team at our NATA Accredited Laboratory based at the Granville Laboratory , in western suburbs of Sydney, NSW.
We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is physically fit and possesses a strong work ethic.
The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safely driven.
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the construction industry in a full-time technical role within one of Australia's leading construction materials suppliers.
In your new role, you will:
Perform materials testing
Carry out equipment calibrations
Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
Assist the technical team
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

A current driver’s licence
Available to work weekends and regular overtime
Professional work ethic
Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician is highly advantageous

What we offer:
Base rate starting from $33.20 per hour, pending experience/qualifications + super, overtime and allowances
Company uniforms and PPE are supplied
