As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you'll support the leadership of the Front Office team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across Front Desk, Concierge, and Night Audit functions.

Lead and support the Front Desk, Concierge, and Night teams to deliver seamless and personalised guest experiences

Ensure guest satisfaction remains the highest priority, responding to feedback and resolving concerns professionally

Recognise IHG One Rewards members, VIPs, and returning guests to enhance their stay experience

Assist in driving guest satisfaction and departmental performance through coaching, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement

Support roster preparation and day-to-day workforce planning in line with business demands

Monitor room inventory, occupancy, and operational performance to maximise revenue opportunities

Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience

Maintain Front Office policies, procedures, and brand standards across all shifts
-
Assist with departmental reporting, forecasting, and operational administration

Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance conversations

Support onboarding and induction activities for new colleagues
-
Complete ad-hoc duties as required to support the successful operation of the hotel

Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly regarded

Significant experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Hotel Operations, including leadership or management experience

A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities

Ability to build and manage effective relationships across teams and departments

Sound understanding of Front Office operations, revenue management principles, and guest service standards

Experience using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse operational reports and performance data

Additional language skills are highly regarded

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
