The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori Trainer and Program Manager to join our Quality and Safety team.
This senior leadership role is responsible for providing educational leadership, training, mentoring and quality assurance support across multiple Montessori Academy campuses.
Working closely with Centre Managers, Educational Leaders and educators, you will strengthen curriculum practice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our centres deliver exceptional Montessori programs aligned with the Montessori philosophy, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) and the National Quality Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead professional development, coaching and mentoring across multiple centres
- Conduct regular centre visits (travel required)
- Deliver occasional after-hours training sessions
- Support centres in preparing for Assessment and Rating
- Train educators in authentic Montessori curriculum implementation
- Guide programming, documentation, assessment and evaluation practices
- Support inclusive education and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct educational audits and contribute to Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Promote child-safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environments
- Provide strategic reports and recommendations to the Head of Quality and Safety
About You
The successful applicant will have an in-depth understanding of the Montessori Early Years Curriculum, Montessori philosophy, and the National Quality Framework.
You will be an inspiring educational leader who is passionate about developing educators and driving high-quality outcomes for children.
You will also ideally have:
- Montessori Diploma qualification (or equivalent)
- Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved), or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Approved Child Protection and National Child Safety Training
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and locations
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Room Leader position or above
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training
- Extensive knowledge of Montessori materials, curriculum areas, and developmental progression
- Passion for implementing authentic Montessori programs
- Commitment to the holistic development, safety, and wellbeing of every child
