As we scale, we’re looking for an accountant who can own core finance processes and provide reliable, timebound reporting.
The accountant is responsible for overseeing core accounting operations with the support of the Accounts Assistant, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, in support of the needs of the General Manager, maintaining compliance with Australian tax and statutory requirements, and supporting business decision-making through analysis and insight in both industry sectors.
The accountant will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. They will observe discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality, consistently operating with integrity and have a track record of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities, presenting financial information clearly.
Swings & Roundabouts is part of a larger group of businesses. In addition to satisfying the role for Swings & Roundabouts, the accountant will provide support to the Group Chief Accountant, fulfilling general accounting duties.
