What you’ll do:
We're seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our Adelaide Mining team. In this role, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of small to medium sustaining capital and brownfields mining projects, helping our clients improve, maintain, and expand their operations safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of structural design packages, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and further develop your technical and project delivery capabilities within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Deliver structural engineering designs for mining and industrial facilities
Prepare calculations, design documentation, technical reports, and specifications
Contribute to studies, detailed design, and construction support activities
Design steel, concrete, and associated structural systems for brownfields and sustaining capital projects
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical teams to deliver integrated project outcomes
Participate in site inspections, structural assessments, and condition evaluations as required
Support project delivery through planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement
Ensure designs meet client, regulatory, and safety requirements
About you:
Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
Approximately 5-10 years of structural engineering experience
Experience within mining, resources, heavy industrial, or related sectors
Exposure to sustaining capital, brownfields, or operational site environments would be beneficial
Knowledge of Australian structural design standards and engineering practices
Experience with structural analysis and design software
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
