YOT Club delivers premium hospitality experiences across luxury yacht cruises, private charters, corporate functions, ticketed cruises and special events. We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Coordinator to join our team and support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of our hospitality and guest service operations.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone with strong hospitality and event experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can coordinate people, service requirements and multiple stakeholders while maintaining exceptional guest standards.
About the Role
As Hospitality Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the operational delivery of YOT Club's cruises, private functions, corporate events and ticketed experiences.
Working closely with management, events, food and beverage, kitchen and vessel operations teams, you will help ensure each event is appropriately staffed, prepared and delivered to YOT Club's premium service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organising and overseeing day-to-day hospitality and guest service operations across luxury yacht cruises, private charters, corporate functions, ticketed cruises and special events.
- Coordinating the operational delivery of events and functions, including guest requirements, event schedules, venue configurations, catering arrangements and service requirements.
- Supervising hospitality and service personnel, allocating duties, assisting with operational rosters and ensuring appropriate staffing levels for scheduled events and cruises.
- Providing ongoing direction, support and training to hospitality staff and monitoring service performance.
- Implementing and reviewing operational procedures and service standards across customer service, food and beverage operations, events and onboard guest experiences.
- Monitoring guest experiences, responding to feedback and assisting with the resolution of escalated customer enquiries or complaints.
- Coordinating food and beverage requirements with bar, kitchen and events personnel, including catering packages, beverage offerings and event-specific service arrangements.
- Ensuring hospitality operations comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements, liquor licensing requirements, Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinating operational resources, stock, equipment and event materials to ensure requirements are available for upcoming cruises, functions and private charters.
- Monitoring labour requirements, operational costs, customer demand and service performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality and profitability.
- Liaising with management, event coordinators, vessel operations personnel, entertainment providers, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of events and guest experiences.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Relevant experience in hospitality operations, events, functions, venue operations or a similar operational environment.
- Experience coordinating hospitality teams and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple events and operational priorities.
- Experience supervising staff, allocating duties and coordinating operational rosters.
- A strong understanding of premium customer service and guest experience standards.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and event service requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and with external suppliers.
- The ability to resolve operational issues and customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- An understanding of workplace health and safety and relevant hospitality compliance requirements.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, or the ability to obtain it.
Experience within premium hospitality, events, tourism, functions, cruise operations or luxury venues will be highly regarded.
