Retail Installer / Tech Merchandiser – ACT

Precision Retail Solutions is expanding our ACT installation and merchandising network and is looking for a reliable, hands-on Retail Installer / Tech Merchandiser to assist with ongoing projects for leading technology, consumer electronics and retail brands.
We have work available immediately, with ongoing opportunities across Canberra and surrounding areas.
The Work
- Services vary between projects and may include:
- Retail display and fixture installations
- Installation of foamcore panels, signage and promotional graphics
- Installation and replacement of large-format fabric faces into existing lightboxes
- Supplying and installing appropriate hooks and basic fixings where required
- In-store technology and product demo updates
- Firmware/software updates to demonstration products
- Setting up and updating interactive retail displays
- Display maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
- Replacing graphics, signage and display components
- Merchandising and product presentation
- Basic assembly and installation of retail fixtures and displays
- Completing photographic and online reporting following each service
- Projects are regularly completed within major consumer electronics and retail stores throughout the ACT.
Who We're Looking For
- We're looking for someone who is:
- Practical and confident using basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable working with technology and electronic products
- Capable of completing signage, lightbox and basic retail installations
- Able to follow detailed installation briefs and instructions
- Confident completing basic technical and demo updates
- Reliable and comfortable working independently
- Professional when communicating with store teams and clients
- Detail-focused with a high standard of presentation
- Able to take clear photographs and complete online reporting
- Equipped with their own basic tools
- Has reliable transport and can travel throughout the ACT as required
- Previous experience in retail installations, shopfitting, signage, visual merchandising, technology, AV, electronics, field services or merchandising would be highly regarded.
Ongoing Opportunity
This isn't just a one-off job. We're looking to establish a relationship with a reliable local installer/merchandiser who can become part of our ACT network and assist with regular projects as they become available.
The work is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, as one service may involve installing new retail graphics or a lightbox fabric, while the next could involve updating demonstration technology or carrying out maintenance on an existing retail display.
