About the role
Wellington Health Service is seeking applications from experienced Enrolled Nurses to join an innovative and forward-thinking Community Health team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Experience in Community Health is desirable but not essential. Applicants should demonstrate sound clinical skills, work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to learn and further develop their practice.
Beneficial clinical skills include the management of invasive devices and wound care, both chronic and acute; however, a willingness to learn and upskill is essential.
The role includes working within the Banksia Clinic (Methadone Program), conducting community home visits, and providing care within the Ambulatory Care Unit. Support on the ward may also be required during peak periods.
Working hours will include Monday to Sunday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. The successful applicant will receive regular support from an experienced team, including an on-site educator and visiting educators. This position reports directly to the Community Health Manager.
