About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Dayforce Project Manager to join our People and Capability team, ideally based at our Perth Airport depot however, candidates from across Australia will be considered based on their experience.
The Opportunity
The Dayforce Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and management of Dayforce, Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals.
Role Overview
The Dayforce Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of Dayforce HCM projects, including all modules; payroll, HR, talent, and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with payroll regulations and business requirements.
- Developing and executing data migration, parallel testing, and payroll reconciliation strategies for seamless transitions.
- Evaluating current processes and tools, creating project plans to address inefficiencies, and performing financial analysis and risk mitigation.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects, maintaining timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while coaching and motivating project teams.
- Acting as a governance checkpoint between Dayforce and client sponsors, ensuring executive-level communication and accountability.
- Applying change management techniques to accelerate adoption of new systems and processes.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Project Management qualifications and experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in payroll operations, payroll systems, or payroll project management roles.
- Deep Dayforce implementation experience, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
