We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Representative to join our team in North Sydney. Our company specialises in providing innovative marketing solutions, and we are seeking a polished professional to focus exclusively on B2B lead generation for a major global technology client. While you will be primarily based out of our North Sydney office, this role offers the unique opportunity to work out of the client's office from time to time.
This is a dedicated, pure lead generation role focusing entirely on outbound engagement, cold calling corporate decision-makers, and pipeline building. This is an ideal position for someone currently studying IT who wants to step into the industry, leverage their technical understanding, and kickstart a long-term career in tech sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through targeted B2B lead generation, qualifying strategic prospects and identifying their technology needs to accelerate the sales pipeline.
- Conduct outbound cold calls and outreach activities to potential corporate clients to generate high-quality leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Build strong initial relationships with senior decision-makers to set up follow-up opportunities for the sales team.
- Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date records of prospect interactions and lead statuses.
- Maintain a professional, client-ready standard at all times, with the potential to interface directly with the client.
Requirements
- IT Lead Generation Experience (CRITICAL MUST HAVE): Proven and direct experience in an outbound lead generation or BDR role specifically within IT, software, or technology environments is strictly required.
- IT Career Focus: Currently studying IT or a related discipline and looking to break into the field to build a career is highly desirable.
- Fluent & Clear English: High-level proficiency with clear articulation and exceptional business-level speaking and writing skills are essential.
- Client-Facing Professionalism: A polished, confident demeanour with the ability to represent our brand and face the client professionally when working from their office.
- Target-Driven & Self-Motivated: Well-organised with a strong work ethic and a track record of hitting outbound lead targets.
