FalkStar Garage Door Insulation is looking for an experienced Garage Door Service Technician and Installer to join our growing team.
This position combines garage door servicing and repairs with the installation of our premium garage door insulation systems.
Previous hands-on experience working with garage doors is essential. Applicants must have professional experience installing, servicing or repairing garage doors. Training will be provided for the insulation installation side of the role.
Key responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing garage doors
- Diagnosing faults and recommending appropriate repairs
- Installing garage door components and replacement parts
- Installing garage door insulation and brush-seal systems
- Conducting safety checks and ensuring doors operate correctly
- Explaining completed work and recommendations to customers
- Completing job information accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Representing FalkStar to a high standard at every appointment
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous professional garage door installation and/or servicing experience
- A strong understanding of garage door systems and components
- The ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs safely
- Good practical, mechanical and problem-solving skills
- A current Australian driver licence
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The physical ability to perform manual installation work
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently
- A strong commitment to workplace and customer safety

Important: Garage door experience is mandatory. Insulation experience is not required, as we will provide full training. Applicants without previous professional garage door installation, servicing or repair experience will not be considered.
