ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide clinical nursing supports and disability services to participants across home and community.
The RN will play a key role in delivering and overseeing complex supports while ensuring participants receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care tailored to their individual goals and needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands On Clinical Experience
Clinical Nursing Supports
Conduct Comprehensive Nursing Assessments and Participant Reviews
Deliver Complex Clinical Supports including:
PEG Feeding
Tracheostomy Care
Catheter Management
Bowel Care
Wound Management
Seizure Management
Diabetes Management
Enteral Feeding
Pressure Injury Management
Medication Administration and Management
Continence Assessments and Care
Ensure Infection Prevention and Control Standards are Maintained Develo
implement and Review Participant Care Plans
Conduct Clinical Risk Assessments and Health Reviews
Provide Clinical Oversight to Support Workers
Ensure Safe Delivery of High-Intensity Supports
PARTICIPANT CENTRED SUPPORT
Promote participant dignity, independence, and choice
Support participants to achieve individual goals and improve quality of life
Encourage community participation and social inclusion
Deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
Build therapeutic and professional participant relationships
Support participant emotional wellbeing and health literacy
COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION
Maintain accurate nursing and clinical documentation
Complete medication charts, incident reports, and progress notes
Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and clinical governance frameworks
Participate in audits, reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain participant privacy and confidentiality
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Bachelor of Nursing Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certification
Strong Clinical Assessment and Documentation Skills
Valid Driver’s Licence
Working with Children’s Check
National Police Check

Experience within Community or Home Care Settings
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Penrith NSW
