As we continue to grow nationally, we are seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, financial performance, and operational excellence.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis, while providing business partnering support across Blue Sun Group and its associated entities as required.
This role plays a key part in supporting informed decision-making by delivering meaningful financial insights, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities:
· Produce monthly management reports that provide meaningful insights into financial and operational performance.
· Coordinate the annual budgeting process and prepare regular forecasts to support business planning.
· Work closely with department managers to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance to support commercial decisions.
· Evaluate revenue, expenditure, profitability and operational results, highlighting trends and recommending practical solutions.
· Monitor product, customer and business unit performance to identify opportunities for improved financial outcomes.
· Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decisions, new initiatives and business growth.
· Prepare reports and dashboards that enable management to monitor key business metrics and make informed decisions.
· Support inventory and working capital management through regular financial analysis and reporting.
· Contribute to the development of business cases for capital expenditure and strategic projects.
· Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, strengthen reporting capabilities and improve data quality.
· Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved.
· Support compliance with internal policies, accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
· Participate in finance improvement projects, including systems enhancements and reporting automation initiatives.
· Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote financial awareness and accountability.
Requirements – Skills & Competencies
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Economics, or Commerce.
· Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a Management Accountant role.
· Strong knowledge of management reporting, budgeting and financial analysis.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders across all levels.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Mandarin language skills are advantageous due to regular communication with overseas suppliers and stakeholders.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
