Sushi Cook
We are looking for an experienced Sushi Cook to join our team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Japanese restaurant
- Able to prepare sushi, sashimi and other Japanese dishes
- Good knife skills and knowledge of Japanese food preparation
- Experience with food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Must have valid working rights in Australia
Duties:
- Preparing sushi, sashimi and other Japanese menu items
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Monitoring stock and assisting with inventory control
