About Sky Ledge
Sky Ledge is an Operational Insights SaaS platform that helps customers easily manage assets and insights for users to see what’s happening across their organizations, predict failures and opportunities, and respond to notifications. The company is helping people achieve this easily, securely, and across anything—devices, people, equipment, fleets, organizations, and communities.
About the Role
Sky Ledge is seeking a Corporate Planning Manager to lead the development, implementation and coordination of corporate policy, governance and strategic planning across our Melbourne, Ghana and Istanbul offices. This is a senior role responsible for setting the organisation's policy direction, ensuring consistent governance standards across all jurisdictions, and supporting Sky Ledge's expansion into new sectors and markets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor strategic plans, programs, policies, processes and systems to achieve organisational goals — leading the design and rollout of Sky Ledge's corporate policy framework across HR, finance and operational ways-of-working, and directing the strategic roadmap for information security compliance (including ISO 27001 certification).
- Develop, implement, administer and participate in policy research and analysis — researching best-practice frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to Sky Ledge's growth (including compliance standards, employment policy and governance frameworks), and translating findings into organisational policy positions.
- Coordinate the implementation of policies and practices — overseeing adoption of new and revised policies across teams and functions, and coordinating control owners and stakeholders to ensure consistent practice against approved policy.
- Establish activity measures and measurements of accountability — setting and tracking KPIs and completion targets for corporate initiatives, and establishing accountability structures for policy owners across the business.
- Oversee and participate in the development of policy documents and reports — directing the preparation of corporate policy documentation, governance registers and management reports, including information security policies, risk registers and leadership reporting on organisational performance against strategic goals.
- Consult with and provide expert guidance to senior and executive stakeholders across Sky Ledge's Ghana, Istanbul and Melbourne offices on policy, program and governance matters — coordinating with executive and senior leadership in each location to ensure consistent policy application, resolving cross-office variances, and advising company leadership on cross-border governance alignment.
- Represent the organisation in cross-office forums and planning sessions with Ghana, Istanbul and Melbourne leadership, and lead the development of governance frameworks, policies and ways-of-working for Sky Ledge's current expansion into the non-profit sector — establishing policy positions and operational standards for engaging non-profit and mission-driven counterparties.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Policy Studies, Development Studies, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in strategic planning, corporate policy development, governance, or program/policy coordination roles.
- Demonstrated research background, with experience translating research and analysis into policy positions or organisational recommendations.
- Experience working across multiple offices, jurisdictions, or international teams highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior and executive leadership across diverse cultural and organisational contexts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory or governance requirements into practical organisational policy.
