The Opportunity
Set among beautiful gardens, Albany Creek Retirement Village is a welcoming community known for its friendly residents and strong sense of connection. With great on site amenities, flexible living options and convenient access to local services, it offers a secure and enjoyable retirement lifestyle. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll deliver excellent dining service, assist with food preparation, help set up and pack down dining areas and events, and build meaningful relationships that enhance the daily lives of residents. In this role, you’ll do more than serve meals - you’ll support our residents, foster meaningful connections, and help create a sense of community.
We currently have a casual opportunity available helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands! Availability will be asked on application.

You will
- Use the POS system to take orders while providing friendly, attentive, and personalised service to residents
- Serve meals and drinks throughout service times, ensuring every dining experience is welcoming and enjoyable
- Assist with light food preparation, including plating meals and preparing simple items such as salads
- Support the setup and pack-down of events and dining spaces, maintaining clean, organised, and inviting areas throughout the day.
- Build meaningful connections with residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging
What you'll bring
- A friendly and warm persona with experience in cafes, kitchens, restaurants or any other customer service environment (required)
- Full working rights (no working holiday visas)
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
