We are seeking a Barista/FOH staff member to join our growing team at Evoke Bakery in Curtin, Kippax Fair and Spence. This is a casual role with the opportunity to work in a vibrant bakery environment. As a Barista/FOH, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in the daily operations of the front-of-house team and supporting the Customer Service Manager.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to customers
- Assist the front-of-house team to ensure efficient and friendly customer service
- Manage the daily operations of the front-of-house, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and stock control
- Ensure the café maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
- Provide feedback and support to the front-of-house manager to help improve the process and procedures
- Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth running of the café
What we're looking for
- Experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and service will be highly desirable but not necessary
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to efficiently handle daily operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help motivate the team
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability on weekends and public holidays
