Rose Bay Secondary College, Years 7 -12, is a partially selective, coeducational high school in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, with a student population of approximately 1050 students in 2026. The school has a focus on high academic achievement and quality teaching in a rich learning environment. Demonstrated ability to manage the policy and WHS requirements of the TAS faculty whilst building a dynamic program which privileges exemplar practice across the technologies curriculum.
Strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate and lead staff to foster a collaborative culture of excellence whilst promoting high-quality educational pathways for students.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage and implement whole-school initiatives that drive the effective delivery of the School Excellence Plan and student growth.
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
