About the role:
CSR are seeking an analytical and commercially minded Demand Planner to join our team based in North Ryde. This role is critical in supporting the IBP methodology, driving forecast accuracy, and ensuring demand signals are translated into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Major Projects, and Senior Leadership, you will develop and manage demand forecasts across a 1-24 month horizon, identify market risks and opportunities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the demand planning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts across a 1-24 month horizon.
- Analyse sales trends, market activity, and customer demand to identify risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate demand insights from Sales, Marketing, Major Projects, NPD, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate forecast review meetings and build consensus demand plans.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Validate demand plans at product family and SKU level, managing exceptions and adjustments.
- Model demand scenarios and support monthly S&OP/IBP planning activities.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data sets.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of business demand drivers.
- Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Experience within an S&OP or IBP environment will be highly regarded.
