Milligan House Child Care Centre is looking for a confident and knowledgeable Centre Director to lead our 49 place, Not-For-Profit centre. Located in Bunbury, this established service offers a welcoming and warm environment. Your Responsibilities:
As Centre Director, you’ll be the heart of Milligan House Child Care Centre.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Overseeing the operations of the service, lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children while ensuring compliance across all areas
- Creating a warm, engaging and safe environment for children, families and educators
- Overseeing all daily operations with a focus on excellence and compliance
- Maintaining a strong community presence and fostering positive family relationships to support occupancy growth through quality programs and engagement
- Managing team performance, development and wellbeing
- Rostering to maintain ratios
- Working within the values and philosophy of Milligan House
- Ensuring high-quality education aligned with Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Acting as Nominated Supervisor for the service
- Working with the Centre Management Committee to oversee and manage centres budget and maintain facility standards
- Drive occupancy growth and build strong community relationships

You’ll be perfect for this role if you have the following:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care minimum (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Centre Director role (Long daycare setting)
- Knowledge of not for profit organisation
- WA Working with Child Check
- Mandatory Child Protection Training
- National Police Clearance (Within 6 months or willing to obtain)
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Law and a passion for high quality education
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates or willing to obtain
- Natural leadership, strong time management and the ability to maintain a great team
- Have an understanding of financial and administrative tasks
- Confident managing centre operations independently
