Latrobe Regional Health is looking for People & Culture Admin Officer (Onboarding) to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The People & Culture Administration Officer (Onboarding) provides efficient and high‑quality administrative and reception support to the People & Culture team and employees across Latrobe Regional Health. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees through effective coordination of documentation, communication and compliance requirements. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the position supports employee experience, maintains accurate records and contributes to the effective delivery of People & Culture services.

The role of the People & Culture Admin Officer (Onboarding) is to:

Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring all documentation requirements are completed and outstanding items are followed up.

Monitor onboarding workflows and maintain accurate spreadsheets, records and reporting requirements.

Manage onboarding communication channels, including phone enquiries and shared email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Facilitate onboarding meetings to support a positive and engaging commencement experience for new staff.

Prepare and distribute routine correspondence and maintain documentation in line with organisational standards and confidentiality requirements.

Provide general administrative support and reception coverage for the People & Culture team as required.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:

Experience providing efficient administrative support in a fast‑paced or customer‑focused setting.

Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

A high level of attention to detail, with a solid understanding of confidentiality and data handling requirements.

A proactive, responsible and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
