- Tertiary qualifications in Traffic Engineering (or a related engineering discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety and parking management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards (Austroads, TfNSW and the Roads Act)
- Proven ability to analyse data and deliver practical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Experience in Road Safety Audits, traffic investigations and data analysis.
- Experience with Local Traffic Forums or government processes
- Parking systems or transport modelling experience

- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with appointment at Grade 11, in the range of $104,564 to $121,153 (dependent upon skills and experience), or for someone at a more junior level you may start at a Grade 10 level.
