About the role
The Richmond Dentist is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Receptionist and Front Office Co-Ordinator to join our busy dental practice. Our office has a reputation for being a kind and comprehensive general practice, as well as transforming smiles with some of the most natural results in Melbourne.
This role will be for 5 days a week. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our front-of-house operations. The position is based in our modern, well-equipped practice located in the heart of Richmond, Victoria.
What you'll be doing
- Warmly welcoming and greeting patients, both in person and over the phone
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient workflow
- Handling patient enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Maintaining accurate patient records and digital filing systems
- Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the dental team
- Upholding high standards of customer service and practice presentation
What we're looking for
- Previous experience ideal, but not essential in a medical or dental reception role, or a similar customer-facing position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems and dental practice management software (Dental 4 Window "D4W")
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
- A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
