Role Summary
The SAP Retail Order‑to‑Pay Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end‑to‑end O2P business processes within SAP Retail. This role acts as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure efficient sales order processing, billing, and financial integration.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Analyze and understand Retail business processes related to Order‑to‑Pay
Configure and support SAP Retail / SD O2P processes, including:
Sales Order Management
Pricing & Promotions
Billing & Invoicing
Returns, Credit & Debit Memos
Handle IS‑Retail specific scenarios:
Site (Store) determination
Article master integration
Assortments and listing
Ensure seamless integration with FI, MM, WM/EWM
Work with business teams to gather requirements and provide SAP solutions
Prepare functional specifications and support developments (RICEF)
Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support
Support cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live activities
Resolve business and system issues during production support
Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Technical / Functional Skills
Strong experience in SAP SD – Order‑to‑Pay
Hands‑on experience with SAP Retail / IS‑Retail
Good understanding of:
Pricing procedures
Output determination
Credit management
Tax determination
Integration knowledge with SAP FI (AR, GL) and MM
Experience in S/4HANA Retail is an added advantage
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, IT, or Business
SAP SD / SAP Retail Certification – preferred
Experience
3–10+ years of experience in SAP Retail or SAP SD
At least 1–2 full SAP implementation projects
Experience in Retail / Fashion / FMCG / Consumer Goods domains preferred
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
Client‑facing experience preferred
