We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Furniture Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembling IKEA (primarily) and other flat-pack furniture for residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all items are built safely, correctly, and efficiently, while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble IKEA and other flat-pack furniture (wardrobes, beds, tables, shelving units, office furniture, etc.).
- Follow assembly instructions and product manuals with precision.
- Ensure completed furniture is stable, secure, and correctly installed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at client sites.
- Provide friendly, professional communication with clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor product or installation issues (e.g., missing parts, adjustments).
- Transport and move furniture pieces carefully to avoid damage.
- Report any defects, damages, or safety concerns to management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture assembly, carpentry, or handyman work preferred.
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and diagrams.
- Competency with hand tools and power tools.
- Physical fitness to lift, carry, and move heavy furniture.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Has a valid Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory).
- Has basic powertools.

Pay: $30.00 – $43.00 per hour
