Are you a passionate pharmacist seeking a change from traditional retail pharmacy into a more clinically focused role within community practice?
We are looking for a permanent part-time pharmacist to join our aged care pharmacy team for 1-2 full days per week.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is organised, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
Key responsibilities include
- Clinical review of medication chart changes and dispensing of aged care prescriptions
- Reviewing medication orders for accuracy and compliance
- Liaising with nursing staff, prescribers, and aged care staff
- Supporting medication packing/checking and supply workflow
- Ensuring timely and accurate medication supply to aged care facilities
About you
- Current AHPRA pharmacist registration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous aged care or community pharmacy experience preferred, but not essential, training will be provided
