Pipe Lining & Coating Pty Ltd is Australia's only privately owned manufacturer of Mild Steel Cement Lined Fusionkote (MSCL FK) Pipe servicing the Water Industry of Australia. Our Rutherford based facility is seeking qualified and experienced Boilermakers for full time, permanent employment in a Factory environment (no site works).
Base week of 38 hours (min) plus overtime available. Standard Hours 7am-3.30pm Mon-Thurs and 7am-1pm Fri, overtime available before and after these hours plus every Sat 6am-12pm or additional where agreed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately read and understand technical manufacturing/workshop drawings & specifications.
- Excellent hand tool skills for manual activities, oxy cutting, power tools etc.
- Welding and joining prefabricated structures and parts using various techniques.
- Ensure welds are of a high-quality standard to satisfy the relevant specifications and tolerances.
- Ensure measurements and components meet required standards.
- Ability and high skill level to manually fabricate and construct specialty pipe spools and configurations.
- Ensure finished products/welds are clean, smooth and polished to a high standard.
Minimum Criteria:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years Trade Qualified experience.
- Overhead Crane experience.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times.
- Ability to work in a team and unsupervised.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Experience in Pipe Manufacturing/Welding (100% NDT).
