The Role: JT Industries & Co is a local construction business specializing in high-quality cement rendering and solid plastering. We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable labourer to join our crew full-time.
If you are just finishing school, looking to get out of a dead-end job, or just want hands-on, outdoor work that keeps you fit, this is for you.
What is Cement Rendering? We apply a sand and cement mixture to brick and concrete walls to create a smooth, durable finish on high-end homes and commercial builds.
What to Expect: This is a very physically demanding role. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Carrying and lifting heavy 20kg bags of cement and sand.
- Mixing render materials.
- Cleaning buckets, tools, and the site.
- Working outdoors in the sun and being on your feet all day.
No Experience Required: We do not expect you to have any prior construction experience. We will provide all the site safety inductions, training, and supervision you need. We are simply looking for someone with:
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Extreme reliability, you need to be on site at 6:15 AM sharp.
- Your own reliable transport (sites change regularly).
- The grit to handle a hard day's physical work.
