We are seeking a talented Digital Designer to create engaging visual content that informs, inspires and connects audiences across Ambulance Victoria's digital platforms. Working as part of our Communication and Engagement team, you'll design, update, edit and publish creative assets that bring our stories, campaigns and services to life.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Community Information, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

Develop engaging visual content, including designs, animations and visual graphics to support communication strategies

Support the implementation of content strategy that drives high engagement consistent with AV's strategic objectives and maintains brand integrity

Work with the Community Information team and across the Communication department to contribute to the success of AV's content strategy

Review, update, coordinate and publish high quality, accurate visual content

Closely proof and quality check all items and publications prior to production
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess a degree in digital marketing/graphic design, or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Other requirements include:

Demonstrated experience producing and editing videos, animations, infographics and other contemporary content for use on social media platforms

Proven experience in digital publishing using content production systems such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Sprout Social

Experience in using storytelling and narrative to promote key messages and engage audiences through the production of compelling content

Knowledge of Victorian Government digital standards including the development of accessible content

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated passion for delivering creative and impactful content to key audiences

Demonstrated experience producing highly engaging and creative digital content
