River and Flames Cafe and Catering is a vibrant and growing hospitality venue located in Grafton, NSW. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and a community-focused atmosphere. As on owner-operated business, we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our core team.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Hospitality All-Rounder for a casual role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and is comfortable working both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations independently.
KEY DETAILS
- Hours: Minimum 10-15 hours per week (with potential for more hours as the business grows)
- Rate: Competitive hourly rates in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009].
- Schedule: Primarily Wednesday - Sunday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Front of House: Exceptional customer service, POS operation, coffee preparation, and maintaining a welcoming dining area.
- Back of House: Food preparation, kitchen hygiene, inventory management, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Autonomy: Confidently work shifts and manage operations without direct supervision.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Proven Experience: 3+ years in both FOH and BOH roles
- Reliability: A proactive attitude and a proven track record of working independently
- Qualifications: Food Handling Certificate highly regarded
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality
